Coaching Staff
Coach Kenneth A. Archer, M.Ed.
Coach Archer started his first year as head coach for the girls’ team in the spring of 2010 after serving as the girls’ goalkeeper trainer in 2009. He has been with the Etown boys’ program since fall 2008 as well. Before coming to Elizabethtown, Coach Archer spent three years at Coatesville Area High School in the Chest-Mont League where he served as the head boys’ coach and assistant girls’ coach for the Red Raiders.
Coach Archer currently holds his NSCAA National Coaching Diploma and has prepared numerous goalkeepers for NCAA careers. He also a part of the LebCo United coaching staff as the U16 Fusion Head Coach, a team developed of primarily Elizabethtown Players. He played at Penn State-Berks, where he won a conference championship and was recognized as an All-Conference Goalkeeper.
Coach Archer is a graduate of Penn State University and West Chester University. He works for the Elizabethtown Area School District as a School Counselor. His goal for the girls’ program is to instill a life long love and passion for the game of soccer in every girl he coaches.
Coach Kevin Laicha
Kevin Laicha is starting his first year with the Bears after coaching at ELCO middle school for 2 years. He lead the girls’ team to a 22-2-4 record during his time at ELCO, including an undefeated season of 11-0-2 that did not allow a single goal against.
Kevin also is the Director of Coaching for the LebCo United soccer club in Lebanon, PA. He coaches several youth teams, including the 2009 U15 girls EPYSA State Challenge Cup winner and USYSA Presidents Cup region 1 finalist. He holds both a USSF National “D” license and a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
Coach Jessica Conrad
Jess Conrad just completed her third season as an assistant coach with the Lebanon Valley College women’s soccer program in 2009. Conrad works primarily with LVC’s goalkeepers. She graduated from Lebanon Valley in 2006 where she played as a goalkeeper. She was recognized as an All-Conference and Regional All-American at Lebanon Valley.
Jess currently works as a Special Education teacher at East High Elementary in the Elizabethtown Area School District. Jess helps train several local youth programs, including Hershey, Palmyra, and First Touch Soccer Academy. In the past she has coached at Trinity and Hershey High School. She has also completed her Advanced Regional Diploma with the NSCAA.
Coach Jeff Truempy
Jeff is also started coaching for the EGS program in the spring of 2010. In addition to coaching EGS, he is also the Head Coach of three Litiz Youth Soccer teams of varied age groups and genders.
